he nation was shocked, make that shocked.Minds have been "broken and entered," the New Yorker (Sept 21, 1957) published.
The National Association of Broadcasters forbade its members from using subliminal commercials.
One fanatical writer, Wilson Bryan Key, claimed that subconscious stimuli were everywhere! He proclaimed, “You cannot pick up a newspaper, magazine, or pamplet, hear radio, or view television anywhere in North America without being assaulted subliminally.” Key pronounced that commercials for liquor, cigarettes, and perfume contained deliberately inserted erotic images that caused people to march off and buy these products, like the brainwashed zombies from a horror movie.
So that bodes well for using subliminal messages for learning.
After all, if something is so powerful it's been banned from covert use, that's got to be good.
The good news about using subliminal learning is that it's easy. You can put the subliminal messages underneath any track you care to use, especially if you create your own custom subliminals using the easy methods available online. Some people go even further and listen to the messages while they sleep, thus using the 8 or so hours every day that would otherwise be wasted.
Subliminals are available "off the shelf" for such things as weight loss, increased confidence and a multitude of other common things.
To use subliminals for learning, I'd suggest creating your own custom program. Get hold of the audio version of the book you want to learn, change the volume and record it over the top of one of your favorite CDs. Burn yourself a new copy with the subliminal learning included. Then listen to it. Simple, huh?
